We always conduct our tests over extended periods. We have used this surf protection on surf trips, both in everyday life and as extra protection during longer journeys. We have truly integrated it into our surfing lifestyle, and here is a summary of our insights.
The bag has been invaluable; it has always been at hand to protect our surfboard. A surfboard is an investment in an activity we are passionate about, which is why protection is a crucial part of this investment.
During our surf trips, we discovered that the bag can also hold extra clothes, towels, and accessories like wax, combs, and snacks. Undoubtedly, the bag has more capacity than it initially appears. We have also noted that with two layers of fabric, it is more durable than the thin cotton protections available on the market today.

Size
The W Surfboard Cover is available in six different sizes, from classic longboards over 9'0 to the fast shortboard and the smallest size 6'0. Additionally, you can always send us a request for a specific size that fits your board. Our covers also include extra space to tuck in towels or wetsuits, so you can keep all your wet accessories together.
Fabric
We always use two layers of fabric, making our covers more durable than the thin jersey materials currently available on the market at a lower price. The inside is protected with a bamboo terry fabric that is both water-resistant and durable. By choosing to forgo traditional cotton terry, we make our inner fabric 10% more environmentally friendly. The fabric is produced in Turkey and is Oeko-tex certified: oeko-tex certifierad, standard 100 product class I, which means it is safe for everyone.
The remaining 90% of the outer fabric and leather drawstring is entirely circular and consists of deadstock and surplus materials.
Details
Every detail on the W Surfboard Cover is a unique handcrafted product. Our drawstring stoppers are made from surplus materials that would otherwise be discarded.
By giving leather a new life in the form of these beautiful stoppers, we add an extra touch of elegance and balance to the cover. All leather we use is vegetable-tanned, meaning it is not treated with chemicals. In vegetable tanning, plant-based substances are used instead, giving the leather a natural and unique surface. The process is gentler for those tanning the leather, for you, and for the environment.
Each drawstring stopper is hand-stitched using traditional techniques, highlighting our focus on artisanal craftsmanship and making each product even more unique.
The cotton cord is also unbleached and blends seamlessly into the natural style
of our products.
In our products, you will never find plastic details or polyester cords that can break off and remain in nature, turning into microplastics when exposed to sunlight.
